Nurture your roots and watch yourself bloom
Understanding the whole picture: your body, your mind, your life.
Providing holistic health support for One & All
At One & All Wellness, I take a root-cause, whole-person approach to optimising health for you and your family.
As a former NHS GP and now a Registered Nutritional Therapist (mBANT, CNHC), I provide evidence-based, compassionate, holistic care for families and individuals. Working together, we look at the root causes of your symptoms and find a path forward that’s sustainable and realistic, with a focus on infant and child health, mental wellbeing, stress, gut health and energy.
How a root-cause approach works?
Just like a plant, lasting health starts at the roots. Here’s how I look at the whole picture.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Functional medicine is a way of looking at health that asks why symptoms are happening, not just what they are. It looks at the whole person, including diet, gut health, sleep, stress, environment and genetics, and how these connect. As a nutritional therapist, I use this approach to create personalised, food-first plans that work alongside your medical care and address your root causes.
-
A Registered Nutritional Therapist uses nutrition and lifestyle changes to support health and wellbeing on a personalised 1-2-1 basis. When I work with groups I will refer to myself as a BANT-Registered Nutritionist®. I’m registered with BANT and the CNHC, which means I’ve completed accredited training, follow a professional code of conduct, and keep my knowledge up to date.
-
No. Although I trained and worked as an NHS GP, my work now is as a nutritional therapist. I don’t diagnose, prescribe or replace your medical care. My GP background helps me understand your health history, recognise when you need medical input, and work alongside your GP and other professionals.
-
Yes. With your permission, I’m happy to liaise with your GP, health visitor or medical team. I’ll never ask you to stop or change prescribed medication; that’s always a conversation for your doctor.
-
Yes. Infant and child health is one of my special interests, from weaning and fussy eating to gut health and sleep. A parent or guardian is always present for appointments with children.
-
Before we meet, you’ll complete a detailed health questionnaire, diet diary and timeline of prominent life and health events. In our first session, we’ll talk through your health history, symptoms and lifestyle in detail. You’ll then receive a personalised plan, with follow-up sessions to review your progress and adjust it. Please note all 1-2-1 consultations take place online only.
-
Yes. Testing can be useful in some cases, such as nutrigenomic (DNA) testing, blood and gut microbiome testing amongst others. I’ll only recommend a test if it’s likely to genuinely change your plan and support you, and I’ll always explain the cost and what it can and can’t tell you before you decide.
-
Not necessarily. My approach is food first. Where a supplement could help, I’ll explain why, recommend good-quality options, and check it’s safe alongside any medication you take. Please note supplement recommendations are only given following 1-2-1s.
-
Everyone is different. Some people notice changes within a few weeks, while others need longer, especially when several factors are involved. We’ll set realistic goals together and review your progress regularly.
-
Yes, 1-2-1 consultations are available online so you can work with me wherever you are in the UK. Online group workshops are also coming soon.
